    This approved document deals with the following requirement from Part K of Schedule 1 to the Building Regulations 2010. Requirement Manifestation of glazing K5.2—Transparent glazing, with which people are likely to come into contact while moving in or about the building, shall incorporate features which make it apparent. Limits on application Requirement K5.2 does not apply to dwellings. Performance In the Secretary of State’s view, you can meet requirement K5.2 by including, in critical locations, permanent means of indicating the presence of large uninterrupted areas of transparent glazing.
